CAFE MEYDOON

Meydoon Cafe and Restaurant is located in a historic conservation area of Naqsh Jahan Square in Isfahan. It features extraordinary views of Imam Mosque and is well blended in the historic vibe of the area. In our redesign of the place we strived to keep the outstanding views intact and worked with traditional material and techniques reminiscence of Isfahan art and craft heritage. This includes the use of mirror, copper and painted tiles.

The hand painted ceiling is inspired by Shirazi famous houses – creating a harmonious blend with other artworks on display. We chose a special shade of green for the flooring and this resulted in a very relaxing atmosphere throughout the place. Plants used in this project have also boosted the energy and vitality of the rooms.
